It’s National Aviation Maintenance Technician Day, which makes it a perfect day to celebrate our 9,000+ aircraft mechanics who work behind the scenes and around the clock to keep our airline running smoothly. You might not see them every time you fly, but their skill and dedication to safety are visible on every aircraft in our fleet. National AMT Day became a holiday in 2008 and is celebrated on the birthday of the Wright Brothers’ mechanic, Charles E. Taylor. Next time you see an AMT, thank them for their hard work and dedication to your safety. 🧰 🔧
