Behind the scenes at MAPPA

The "this does not look right" is already soo much better then most animes. Kudos for sticking to the vision.

drawing hands is almost the most difficult part of cartoon making. one single second of animation can waste days or even weeks.

This reminds me of old cartoons where they actually do the thing first then animate it, where you can actually see the people are having fun making the animation.

Go MAPPA

Universal artist experience

"this does not look right" hurts my soul. You're in the zone cooking and then you take a step back and then... "awh shite" 😭

I wanna be an animator so bad, It would be so funny to be in the animators office and seeing every few seconds a random animator just get up and do a random pose for reference

Love that it's AOT behind the scenes. But why does it look like they shot this in the 80's 🤣

I wanna watch more videos like this 😭

Better than ufraudtable's behind the scenes vid where it looked rushed & forced (& posted the vid right after kpdh won golden globes coz they r mad)

The first three seasons of the Attack on Titan anime were produced by WIT STUDIO and received acclaim for their spectacular action and animation, but from Season 4 (The Final Season), the studio was changed to MAPPA to meet production schedules, and they produced it through to the finale.

Now we know why Mappa AoT had so many face inconsistencies😂😂😂😂

This is LITERALLY what my teacher told me do when you struggle with poses, hands, angles or pretty much anything human related. Just take damn picture and draw from that

God like hand animation...

Oh.. is it real??

Relatable, lol 😆

@UnlegoBatman

Artists be arting 😍 so dope man

Wow! Kudos to our creators.

@johfi92

You'd think that man is reviewing the quality of his drawings when he looks at his hands, but in reality, He's just going fucking crazy

This is impressive

God I love animation

AOT! LFG
