Behind the scenes of THE ODYSSEY

Awesome stuff. This movie brought back my love for film

That scene when he drags the axes and strikes the shield so hard the guy falls on his back is so good

I see people confused how this guy could film all of this on his phone on a Nolan set. Seems pretty obvious he was given access by the studio to film all this BTS to do social media promotions. He has nearly 3 million Tiktok followers.

Swapped that imax out like an f1 pit stop. Love it.

This is obviously filmed on a phone. What about Nolan’s infamous no phones on set rule. Interesting. Looking into this.

The reason why Nolan is one of the best director!

Similar dubious set quality as Rings of Power. Fascinating.

@oceansinatra

Why does this guy sound like the Chicago drinks guy doing way too many things in a day

Would have been better that this slop film was never made

Seeing how they’re actually bringing The Odyssey to life makes the movie even more exciting. Cinema is BACK. 🗿🔥

It hurts my back that there is no support system in the IMAX Shoulder structured "handheld" takes...like...maybe supports go into his waist? a bit of an exoskeleton would help! weird...Maybe someone can explain.

Great stuff, isn't it weird to think AI will soon be doing all this for a fraction of the cost and effort.

3 minutes...😩

Lot of work

I can’t wait for Elon’s remake!

why did nolan let this guy on set?

No doubt every A-list actor wants to work with Nolan today. It's so much more fun to fight with real spears and swords at a real set than in front of a green screen with empty hands edited in post.

Moses came back.

I wish these moments were 35mm film and IMAX was reserved for those big epic moments. Odyssey was a good experiment that IMAX for the sake of IMAX just doesn't work.

@onbernardi

Who should be 007?

Beautiful Hope he makes a film about the fall of Elon Musk in the coming years

There's a lot more light on the film set than in the film, which is much darker.

I thought the choreography and editing of this whole sequence was terrible 🫠
