Sure, there’s a nugget of truth. People routinely underestimate the Law of Unintended Consequences. But in the Woke Right’s worldview — just like the Woke Left’s — it only ever flows one way: toward exonerating villains and indicting the West.

He never exonerated the nazis. I listened to this whole interview, and at no point did he justify Germans aggression, or the holocaust. He stated what is commonly known, and even what I was taught in school, that the rise of the Nazi party was a reaction to the heavy handed measures applied by the allies aftet WWI. Why are you misrepresenting what he said?
