That's a wrap on Alif Summit. We set out ~2 months ago with one goal: to bring the brightest Muslim builders from across the world under one roof. And we did it to prove a point — that as a community, it's time to raise the bar of what we think we're capable of. To move beyond trying to build the best "Muslim" version of anything, and shoot directly for building the best. And this weekend, it felt like we made real progress towards that. Alhamdulilah. Ty to everyone who came by.

Krishna on how Anthropic thinks about the platform vs. application layer, and when they decide to build their own products like Claude Code. It’s the question every investor and founder is thinking about: “Most of what we're building is platform. There's so many examples of where a platform can accrue a lot of value, but the customers who are building on that platform actually accrue even more value. We will build our own applications on that same platform where a couple of things are true. Number one, if we feel like we have a vision into where the models are going and we can demonstrate that and create customer value in that, that might be something like Claude Code. The second is thinking about ways to demonstrate value for the ecosystem that others might emulate. If you think about Claude for financial services or Claude for life sciences, these are ways in which we've composed the platform. We're building on the same platform as our customers. That creates a level playing field. We also think that there's so much value that's going to accrue in these areas that our customers can win and we can win as well. So I think of our strategy as mostly horizontal. A lot of the value is going to accrue to the customers that are building on top of it. Our goal is build the best models and then build the products and tools and services that allow that intelligence to proliferate within customers."

“Well, thank you all for tuning in to the first episode of The Jeremy Boreing Show. You know, it's never really been my ambition to have a podcast. For the decade that I was running The Daily Wire, people would often ask me, 'When are you going to get your own show?' And my answer was always the same. 'They're all my show,' I would say. But they're not anymore. Now, if I want to talk to you, I have to do it directly and that's a new challenge. It's not where I thought I would be in life, not where I wanted to be. It's been a huge change leaving The Daily Wire. Not one that I had ever seen coming. But I'm glad to have this opportunity where we might explore some of the issues facing the country and the movement together. You know, I used to say that my mission in life was to fight the left and build the future. And for the most part, that mission hasn't changed but I do see now that there are threats to our freedom, threats to our future that aren't exclusively on the left. Some of them are on the right. The left is still the bigger threat, but you can't defeat an organized left unless you have a healthy right. And so it's incumbent on all of us who believe in the country, who who believe that America is a force for good in the world, who believe in the founding creed of the country that all men are created equal, that we're endowed by our creator with unalienable rights. Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, who believe in our founding documents, who believe in our constitution, who believe that our best days can truly still be ahead, that we can bequeath to our children a future of freedom, a future of prosperity, and a future of virtue. Perhaps even more so than what was bequeathed to us, it's incumbent that we be the ones building that future. And so today I say that the purpose of this show is to fight for freedom and build the future. I don't know if we'll be a huge show or a small show. I don't know if we'll have rocket ship success like we had at The Daily Wire. But our ambition is really to be a part of the conversation, a constructive part of the conversation, to remind everyone of the optimism that we're called to in Christ, to remind everyone of our mission as Americans, which is to spread freedom and our mission as Christians, not tribal political Christians who use the gospel as a cudgel, but actual believing Christians. Our mission has always been the same, and that's to proclaim Christ in the world and the power of salvation that comes through the power of his gospel. And so that's what we're going to do together.
