@Mageba_wav I think I fried my last two brain cells listening to the first 30 seconds. There is nothing scientific about this study. Because attractiveness is subjective. There's other variables as well that makes this unscientific but who cares.

@Mageba_wav yeah, but appearances are perceived differently once you get to know somebody. so it’s likely that those who were deemed unattractive actually get more compliments irl ‘cause they’re judged as a person, image + personality, not just image. so there’s that to be considered.

@Mageba_wav I lived in Hollywood and LA for years and saw BEAUTIFUL people every day - men and women...and many were very humble and cool. Then I relocated to Midwest and here there are men & women who are Minnesota 3's convinced they're are CA 10's, gorgeous models, and influencers.

@Mageba_wav I think the problem with this idea is that the study in itself is flawed because at the end of it, the person who, or the group who compiled all the evidence are the ones who decided if the people who made the list are attractive or unattractive. So it’s kinda null and void

@Mageba_wav I don’t think this means attractive people don’t see themselves as attractive. It could be that they’re just in a different tier of attractiveness so of course they would rate themselves lower than someone who is part of a more ordinary tiers.

@Mageba_wav Id be willing to bet if you removed womens number ratings and put the men in order of atttactiveness and renumber the men would be more accurate. Women generally rate men either 8+ or 3-. Women find 80% of men unattractive. Meaning their number scale isnt weighted properly.
