Police have friends in the tow truck industry, they know which tow truck to communicate with, and because of that we see that the tow truck industry has free rein when it comes to crime. Man claims he was only illegally parked for a few moments yet there was time for a tow truck to come and tow the car. He had a kid in the car, the tow truck driver claimed he checked the car and proceeded to tow the car. The police finally show up and arrest the tow truck driver for child abuse. Do you feel this was the tow truck drivers fault or should the parent have been charged with leaving the child in the car.

Yesterday a tractor trailer in Ohio hit and Allen Myers truck in a construction zone. Here a Tow operator even has a cone out... drivers are still weaving in and out. Move over if you can. Slow down if you cannot used to just be a common sense courtesy thing. 71% of Americans were unaware of Move Over laws. AAA Foundation identified 123 roadside assistance providers struck and killed from 2015-2021. A tow operator is killed about every 6 days. This is not just about cops.

Old man locks his keys in the car. Tow truck pulls up, gets them out with a reacher. Then the price hits. “I will not get gouged.” He starts driving. Tow guy: “That’s theft. I got your plate.” Him: “Call the cops. They can come to my house and file a complaint.” They knock $100 off after he almost leaves. If I were the tow truck driver, I would not have cut him a deal and if he ran, I would have pressed charges. What about you? How would you have handled this?

This tow truck driver is hooked up to an SUV. The only problem is there’s a person inside it, and they’re trying to drive away. I thought you weren’t supposed to hook up if someone is in the vehicle. Now there’s vehicle damage, and they get into an argument. So who is right? In this case, I think the tow truck driver is wrong regardless of why he’s there.

This tow truck driver goes off on these kids. They ran out of gas on the side of the road and a firemen noticed them so he stopped and he gave them some gas. When they went to start the car, the battery was dead. Couldn’t figure out the reason. The firefighter radioed the sheriff. The sheriff then called this tow truck driver. The kids thought the Sheriff was coming. The tow truck driver arrives. Mind you, he got the call at 5:40 AM. The kid tells him they can’t pay for a tow and don’t need one and they can’t pay for a jump either, which they need. He goes ballistic. Well, the tow truck driver forgot his jumper cables. Didn’t pack them. 🤯 You can hear him screaming and cussing at the kid. Said he only got one hour of sleep. Eventually a passerby stopped and jumped their battery and they went on their way. A couple of things, one, for the youngsters, or anyone for that matter, never travel without jumper cables. You never know when you will need them. Two, what kind of tow truck driver doesn’t have jumper cables? 🤯 The tow truck driver talking to them like that is unacceptable. Sure he wasn’t going to get paid. I get it. This is the job you signed up for, being awakened at all hours of the night. Once he knew there was no money he had two choices, leave and go back home or stay and help.
