It is about turning Abuja into a construction theatre while ignoring the foundation of a livable city. People may clap for new roads today, but flooding will not clap. Flooding will expose every bad decision, every compromised plan, every destroyed green area and every water channel sacrificed for political performance. This is why Wike is dangerous to Abuja. He understands visibility, but Abuja needs more than visible projects. Abuja needs preservation. Abuja needs order.
