The institution that lectures the country on accountability, on inclusion, on the safety of women, has aired four minutes of a woman being described as sodomised to death with a stick, and is defending it as satire. That is a bold position for an organisation currently insisting it be taken seriously as the pinnacle of journalistic integrity, days after its own chairman went on television to explain it has no bias at all. It is degrading, it is reprehensible, and it is still online. A woman’s bank balance or her politics should not determine her right to be spoken about as a human being and frankly I’m even more disgusted by the silence from the feminists on this.

I would like to bring to your attention the continued human rights abuses being carried out by state forces in Balochistan. In March, I submitted a video statement for the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council, which is now available on UN Web TV: Despite international attention, including statements by UN Special Rapporteurs, the Pakistani state continues its campaign of oppression against the Baloch people. Our peaceful struggle for justice and human rights has been met with increased brutality. Today, more than 200 of our fellow activists, including prominent leaders such as Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Shahji Baloch, and Beebarg Baloch, are being held in illegal detention. We urge all international human rights organizations and the global community to continue raising their voices against these grave injustices. Our 2026 home shirt, in memory of Billy Young and inspired by the shirt worn 50 years ago by our cup winning team, the first kit in either Ireland or Britain with a sponsor. 🔴⚫️ The shirt will be available at midday on December 18th both online and at The Bohs Store in Glasnevin. It will only be available in long sleeve. With thanks to main club partners Des Kelly Interiors and our kit supplier O’Neill’s who both agreed to use their logos from the era alongside a Bohemian FC crest from the time. The late release of the shirt is due to a full redesign which was undertaken once we had certainty on the last season of Dalymount being 2026, we wish to thank O’Neill’s for ensuring we will have available pre-Christmas. Great question about fame. Benefits and drawbacks to being famous? Fame is tricky and hard to control if your feet aren’t firmly planted on the ground. Anchors and perspective is always important. Humility and kindness matters. There are no drawbacks to fame. I think about how things used to be when I wasn’t famous, and broke as fuck. (of course, the days of just jumping in my pick up truck and going to the grocery store or the mall are long gone but I sure as hell ain’t complaining;) And for me, the greatest benefit to fame is impacting people’s lives in a positive way. I’m not a sludge or toxicity kinda guy. Having great influence is like having a superpower. Use it wisely and I have the power to keep things authentic and positive, so I do. One big thing I realized over the years once I became famous and I share this with so many young athletes, entertainers, digital influencers and entrepreneurs who “chase fame”/ the one thing that’s way more important than being famous for something — is actually being great at something. “When you’re good at something, you’ll tell everyone.
