A veteran yelling “I went to war for a First Amendment zone?” is exactly why I ask people in power the questions I ask. Because if the Constitution is sacred enough to draft someone’s kid for, it should be sacred enough to uphold when people protest at home. They may dodge the answer. But they heard the question, on the record. Elon Musk for someone who cosplays as the First Amendment’s divorced dad, you are awfully quiet when actual people are being told where their speech is allowed to stand.

You didn’t hear a single person in any of those videos talk about what the people of Texas want, what the people of Indiana want. This is all about taking orders from Donald Trump. And we should be making sure that voters get to pick their representatives—not politicians picking their voters. They know they can’t win, so they’re trying to rig the system.
