JDM x Belal was a tremendous affair, but I have been somewhat blown away by the analysis in the aftermath. It has been pretty damn disrespectful towards JDM and pretty damn disrespectful towards Belal Muhammad. The main narrative after this fight is, 'Why didn't Belal shoot? Why didn't Belal try to take him down? Why did he divert and change the style that got him there?' Belal Muhammad didn't try to divert from what got him there. Belal just fought a guy who is incredibly big, incredibly strong, incredibly long, and has some pretty damn good takedown defense.
