Moving drone shot down with a rifle in Ukraine here which brings me to a few points: -The Army and USMC should include skeet shooting as part of basic training going forward. FPV drones will be a very common weapon in all future wars. -MTOE (and whatever the Marines version of that is) should be changed to include one counter drone Soldier/Marine at the squad level -The USMC already has the Benelli M4 which would work well in this role but is cost prohibitive to field in the numbers that will be needed in future wars which brings up the question: what shotgun should be fielded by these forces? I'm leaning Mossberg 590 (already Brady complaint with a NSN) with a tritium "bead" sight (likely choice is XS) and 18-19'' barrel with flush mag tube but I'm open to other suggestions below ⬇️ #army #USMC #marines #FutureWar #LSCO #shotgun #drone
