Here is a theory people don't seem to grasp in the comments These accusations while taken very seriously. All it takes is for the accused to make sure to leave little to no evidence as possible. All the acused need is to deny, cover up, ans build a huge wall of supporters.

It's a slippery slope on both ends. Not believing survivors can let criminals get away with it, and believing survivors can ruin the lives of innocent men and even lead them to suicide.
