In a recently shared recording, Israeli minister of national security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, talked about eliminating Syrian interim president Ahmad Al-Sharaa. Expressing his love for the Druze people of Israel and saying "Once a Jihadist, always a Jihadist" when referring to Sharaa. Last week, Israel carried out air strikes on Syrian government infrastructure in the south of the country, in response to what it described as attacks on Druze civilians in Suweida province.
