Ben hyping up the packed crowd behind him after ending his interview on ESPN. Nice moment. He's looking to become the first American man since Andy Roddick in 2003 to win a Grand Slam title. Ready to make history on Sunday 😤 (via ESPN)

@espn roddick won that US open way back in 2003 so people acting like the pressure on shelton right now isn't massive are completely missing the context.

@espn I love that Andy is encouraging him and showing him love/support

@espn So happy for him!!!

@espn Frances Tiafoe is one of the good guys in tennis. Would’ve loved to see him in the final, but at least his game is back. #Tennis #Tiafoe

@espn does anyone know what ben and andy are tlaking about?? andy says “idc” but whats that in reference to?

@espn He’s not winning anything

@espn

@espn This is his only shot at a grand slam and I don’t think he’ll win

@espn Go Sascha!

@espn andy is looking at the next great american, so cool to see, tiafoe will get another chance

@espn easy to get caught up in the post-match hype with the crowd, but shelton keeping that same energy for Sunday is what’s going to dictate if he ends this drought.

@espn The title is calling. 💪🏻🇺🇲🏆
