Niko Medved on the fans: I just refuse, and I have since I got here, I refuse to say that we can’t build this thing back. College basketball matters in the Twin Cities, it really does, it’s our job to make it matter. It’s games like this that start to get that going again. I love having the students rush the court, it’s supposed to be fun. You want them to come to the game and enjoy being there, rush the court, see us win. They go home and they had a blast, well you know what, they’re probably going to show up Friday too…and they’re probably going to bring their friends, I hope they do. I really appreciated the crowd so much. #Gophers

I love seeing my kids lose games.” “Brooks is in eighth grade. He’s going to have some tremendous basketball, football teams. Sometimes they lose in a championship game, and I’m sitting back there thinking, ‘Perfect.’ He threw two picks and they lost. Perfect. Because it doesn’t need to be all easy going into high school.” “You’ve got to have some adversity.
