Sen. John Ossoff (D-GA) pressed Jay Clayton during his director of national intelligence confirmation hearing on Wednesday about his view of the outcome of the 2020 election. Ossoff repeatedly asked Clayton who won the 2020 presidential election, to which Clayton replied, “I’ve given you my answer,” but did not specify who he believes won the election. When pressed earlier in the hearing by Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) on the same topic, Clayton said, "Joe Biden was certified as the president of the United States.”
