Weird part there when he says he has to stay with child care. Was Trump wearing an earpiece or otherwise receiving coaching or direction from an aide telling him to “stay with childcare”?

When you read it back, it's much worse than when you actually hear it. The fact that this inarticulate mush came out of the mouth of a political candidate for president is about as shocking as if aliens descended on our planet. Last Week Tonight used to let an iPhone answer Trump’s questions with predictive text (simply hitting the suggested next word over and over), and it was a remarkably more coherent and functional use of language than the GOP’s presidential candidate.
