Blumenthal: “The night before James Comey's indictment, you had dinner with the president…Was James Comey discussed at that dinner?” Bondi: “I love that picture. That's a great picture. And there were a lot of people there that night. I think the entire cabinet was there.” Blumenthal: “Did you discuss James Comey with the President of the United States? He was sitting just to your left.” Bondi: “Well, two seats down and I am not going to discuss any conversations I've had or not had with the president.”

CHAVEZ-DeREMER: I will not be able to discuss this because it's under litigation now. MURPHY: Well you can certainly discuss why you eliminated the agency, and if you had conversations with Elon Musk about it. CHAVEZ-DeREMER: I cannot discuss it. I don't even know about that specific case.

'This time, I'm not going to Russia' - Rubio discusses his overseas visits with journalists. — You're going to urge Russia... — This time, I'm not going to Russia. — Sorry. Are you going to urge Hungary and Slovakia to stop buying Russian energy resources? — We'll discuss these issues with them. We'll talk about what needs to be done. I won't go into the details of what exactly we'll say at these meetings. But these are countries that closely cooperate with us and are strong partners of the United States. It's a good opportunity to visit them. Besides, I haven't been to any of these countries before. - SK

Collins: If you can't clearly articulate why this started, how do you tell people how it's ending? Sheehy: How do you not clearly articulate how it started in 1983 1989, 1980? Collins: I don't remember hearing any Republican say we should vote for Donald Trump because he's going to go to war with Iran for those reasons. I mean, the president actually ran on not going to war with Iran. Sheehy: So every single policy decision the president makes has to be the centerpiece of a campaign speech? Collins: If you say you're not going to do something and then you do it. I mean, a lot of the president's big allies are saying they're pretty worried about what's actually happening in Iran right now.

Rosen: Did you discuss General Haugh’s dismissal with Laura Loomer prior to his removal? Hegseth: I don’t discuss who I talk about anything with.. Rosen: Do you believe it’s appropriate for any social media personality to influence decisions in your department? Hegseth: Your time is up. Rosen: It is not up to you to tell me when my time is up. You are either feckless or complicit. You’re not in control of your department. I don’t appreciate the smirk. Sir, you are the secretary of defense.
