Ben Shapiro is the dumb guy's smart guy.

Alex is also brilliant. I love seeing him debate guys like Shapiro. He calmly, and politely crushes them.

Shapiro seems smart when debating college students who can't react to the fact he talks as fast as he does and rapid fires claims and/or questions. It is easy to look smart when your goal is to fluster your opponent with word salad rather than articulated points.

His only trick is to speak so fast (and on script) that you miss his arguments are all, always, built on unsupported assertions.

Turns out it’s a lot harder to debate a mature adult who keeps his poise than it is to trigger college kids into being too amped up to engage him effectively.

Everything else aside, how ridiculous has it become that debates about “morality” and whatnot are happening from people who support some of the most immoral people in government and the business world today? That’s where organized religion (in my eyes) has completely lost.

The whole thing is worth watching if you have the time.

I once told a friend the same thing about Joe Rogan, and my friend nodded eagerly, and it took me till next day to realize my friend understood my quip as "he is smart - and he helps educate dumb people"
