Ben Starr is such a freaking amazing dude and I’m glad he spoke out about it. If I’m not mistaken this isn’t his first time doing that too. A lot of people think it’s easy to do that job and it isn’t as someone like myself who tried it, it’s not easy. Those layoffs suck.

Absolutely we need more people to do that. Those execs are killing gaming and ruining the lives of many passionate devs who for all we know never got a chance because those devs set unrealistic expectations for them.

Sandfall made a game they would want to play, not sell to make money, and this is so rare nowadays. E33 embodies the soul of all the people that worked in it, you can see it from the title screen to the end credits. We appreciate that and now it is time to recognize it

Meh.....Sandfall didnt have to lay anyone off because they weren't overstaffed. It wasnt ethically wrong for bigger companies to have layoffs. They are simply trying be more efficient, like Sandfall.

The concept of layoffs and the responses to them are funny to me. I don't really understand the idea that it's an evil event. It's really just "We don't need you anymore" which makes sense. You don't need to hire an actor who isn't playing a part, y'know?
