Mark is absolutely spot on about Ben White. Couldn’t have said it any better. Playing for England isn’t based on merit.

Totally agree Southgate doesn't pick on form or who trains well so what's the point

The England staff turned their backs on Ben White. An assistant manager lashed out at him in front of the squad. Ben stood up for himself. The manager in turn then backed his assistant and threw White under the bus. Why would White want to play for Southgate again?

It's just the normal pile on anything Arsenal ar every opportunity. There was clearly a MASSIVE problem for him to leave the World Cup and for Southgate to say there isn't one is such a joke. To me I mean it's not like he's a draft dodger, it's football not the military
