The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has reiterated his earlier directive that children should be taught in their mother tongue, at least up to stage three of the basic school level. He also addressed the ongoing debate about whether senior high school girls should be allowed to keep long hair. According to the minister, he still stands by the directive, explaining that for purposes of uniformity and discipline, girls should continue to keep their hair short. He added that if the idea of allowing long hair is accepted, it could eventually lead to debates about the type of shoes, outfits, and other personal preferences among students.

And since I’ve figured out how to take care of it/style it myself, I think short hair will be good (to keep) for a while. Yes, I want to keep it for quite a long time.
