Keira Knightley says her hairdresser knew she was pregnant just by touching the back of her head. Keira Knightley: So I was about six weeks pregnant, and I, obviously not telling anyone, totally new, felt awful. And my hairdresser, you get your hair and makeup done every morning, you know, going into hair and makeup, and she just touched the back of my hair and she went, “You’re pregnant.” Keira Knightley: And I was like, “What?” Interviewer: She said? 🦋 ​they said jeongwoo burst into tears the moment he got into the car 🦁 yeah. he was talking about the concert review with me, and then suddenly he started crying by himself. there weren't even any tissues 🐮 but i was sitting next to jeongwoo, and when jaehyuk hyung was crying, i was trying so hard not to cry too. i was holding it in so much that my head started to hurt. It felt like some weird muscle was being strained. i wanted to cry, but i also wanted to hold it back—so many emotions were mixed together 🐺 when jaehyuk hyung was giving his ment, seeing him get emotional made me tear up a little too, but i held it in. honestly, i really got emotional. i really did. i was holding it back and shaking my face a lot to keep myself from crying. then after everything ended and i got into the car, jaehyuk was talking, and while junghwan was giving his ment, i was watching his back. then suddenly it all hit me at once. i tried to stop myself there too, but it didn't work. because, honestly, we've been running for such a long time up until now. to be honest, it wasn't just us. the trainers and our entire trainer team staff members made this happen together. because it’s an award we all achieved together, it felt incredibly meaningful to me. i was actually thinking about that and tried to [say it/do it], but... yeah, i couldn't get it out #박정우 #하루토 #윤재혁 #소정환

My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

Lynch has what I think is my favorite cameo of all time. Not just because of how perfect his brief performance is but because of how surreal it is that one of the greatest directors of all time is playing another of the greatest directors of all time in a movie by one of the greatest directors of all time. And also because he only request for doing the cameo was Cheetos. If I didn’t always understand him as a director, more than anything, I understood him as a Cheeto fiend and loved him as an actor and for being a genuine weirdo. Interviewer: Tony Kushner said that your only request was to have Cheetos in your dressing room. Is that a staple part of your diet? What specifically about Cheetos gets you through the day? Lynch: Well, Cheetos, number one, I love them. And any chance I can, I get them. But I know that they’re not exactly health food. So when I do leave the house and I get a chance to... But I don’t get them that often, honestly. If I do get them, I want a *big* bag. Because once you start... you need to have a lot before you could slow down and actually stop. This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explains… “I wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while I’m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. ….so I decided I’m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I don’t give him the part, then once I’m done with it and it gets out in the town, then it’s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, I’ve got the juice to get it through, and now I can’t take it back because I wouldn’t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, “Well, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but I’ve already given that to Robert Forster, and I’m a man of my word. I can’t take it back.” Now, De Niro is very much a man of his word, so he understands that. He gets that. And he’s just like, “Yeah, yeah. That’s just disappointing. It’s just regretful.” I go, “What?” “Well, just because, you know, you were thinking about him, so you wrote it for him. But if we had had more dinners and hung out a little bit more, then you would have been thinking about me and you would have written it for me. And I understand what happened, but that could have been changed if we had spent more time with each other before this.” And so he kind of gives me the – “just think about it for a couple of days, all right? - and then let’s talk again. Maybe Bob (Robert Foster) could play Louis, the other guy.” So then I actually have Bob read Louis with me, and then read Max. And if that could work, maybe that could work. But no, everything that made him perfect for Max made him wrong for Louis. And so I get on the phone with De Niro — and I go, “Yeah, you know, I explored that. But no, everything about him that makes him perfect for Max makes him wrong to play this ex-convict guy.” And he goes, “Yeah, yeah, I get that. I get that, I get that, I get that. Okay, so tell me about this Louis character.” And I go, “You would consider playing Louis?” “Yeah, it’s a good character. It’s a good movie. I wanna be part of it. It’s a good character. I wanted the other character, but yeah, this is a good character. I’d be happy to play it.” I go, “Well, you didn’t let me know that before.” He goes, “Well, I didn’t wanna let you off the hook. Watching this clip actually made me feel a lot better. Even though #JAMES was crying and trying to hold back his tears, I really think they were tears of happiness. The way he looked out at the fans and smiled… I could really feel how happy and touched he was, and how grateful he was for all the love he was getting. Honestly, just seeing that is enough for me. No matter what was going through his mind at that moment, I just want him to know that so many people love him and are always there cheering him on. I just want him to be happy and have nothing but good things come his way. And even when things get tough, I hope he’ll always have the strength to get through them.
