They have literally formed a Control Room at Kalighat and WhatsApp Groups at local levels to monitor the Voting Process of the Police Personnel who would be casting their votes on the Postal Ballots. The team of Santanu Sinha Biswas; Coordinator and Bijitaswa Rout; Convenor of Kolkata & West Bengal Police Welfare Committee have been allocated the task to ensure that all the Votes cast by the Police Personnel are in the favour of the TMC Party. The Police Personnel can't even exercise their free will and vote for a Candidate whom they personally want to vote for. The West Bengal Police Welfare Committee is nothing but just an extension of the TMC, as if, it is the unofficial Union of the Police Personnel, bearing allegiance to the TMC Party. In a shocking incident reported from Bethamangala in KGF taluk of Kolar district, thieves attempted to steal ₹1 lakh kept inside a bike box near the Bethamangala Police Station. According to reports, Ramesh, a resident of Bethamangala New Town, had withdrawn ₹1 lakh from Canara Bank and placed the cash inside his bike box. He had parked the bike and stepped into a nearby shop when the accused, who were allegedly waiting for an opportunity, stole the money and attempted to flee. However, Ramesh’s son noticed the theft and immediately raised an alarm. Hearing the cries for help, local residents chased the accused, caught them, and later handed them over to the police. The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras. Residents expressed anger over the incident, questioning the police response as the theft attempt took place very close to the police station. Locals alleged that the police did not react promptly despite the commotion in the area.

Grab Malaysia has apologised following allegations that a female passenger was sexually harassed by an e-hailing driver in Johor. In a comment posted on Instagram, the company said it was “deeply sorry” over the incident and acknowledged the seriousness of the matter. Grab said it was aware of the report and was actively reaching out to the affected passenger to investigate the case and provide appropriate support. “This should never have happened,” the company said, adding that it takes such incidents seriously and will take action in line with its policies. Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Raub Selamat said police are working to identify the driver, adding that no police report has been lodged so far.
