In a disturbing escalation of political violence in West Bengal, the TMC launched a violent attack at the BJP District Party Office in Cooch Behar. The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police. TMC Goons along with Jihadists who are under the patronage of Mamata Police executed the attack. Several of our Karyakartas got injured badly. Recently, BJP MLA from Cooch Behar South Assembly Constituency; Shri Nikhil Ranjan Dey was attacked by TMC Goons while he was going towards Dinhata Court. Today's incident has reignited concerns over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the district and all over the state as well. The attack is a deliberate attempt to intimidate BJP workers and a blueprint of the TMC's desperation to cling on to power through violence and thuggery. There are no concessions for Opposition Political Workers in West Bengal, especially BJP Karyakartas, even if such Karyakarta is a woman and also from the minority community. Hossainara Begum; Vice President BJP Minority Morcha was brutally attacked by TMC goons on 25th June. She was forcefully disrobed, molested and brutally beaten up mercilessly at Rangamati village, Post - Ramthenga, under Police Station - Ghoksadanga, Cooch Behar district. Her only fault is that she associated with BJP and has worked extensively during the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections. She is presently being treated for injuries at the Cooch Behar MJN Medical College and Hospital. I have sent emails to the Chairpersons of National Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women and National Commission for Minorities, urging them to send a team to Cooch Behar district to ascertain what an Opposition Political Worker goes through in West Bengal. WREN: Leader John Thune says Rs don’t even know what a talking filibuster is. I looked it up. Schumer pushed the same idea in 2021 when Ds tried to pass H.R.1 and end the filibuster. He knew the vote would fail bc of Manchin and Sinema but forced it anyway to smoke out every senator. Caroline Wren

Today AAP protested against BJP in Punjab. But in the name of protest, AAP leaders stormed BJP offices to threaten and intimidate political opponents. In Banga, Dr. Sukhi MLA (former Akali leader, now with AAP) forcefully entered the BJP office & attacked the BJP President. After the Bengal verdict, AAP appears frustrated and is now resorting to violence, intimidation & political hooliganism. AAP is trying to copy the TMC model in Punjab, but the people of Punjab will give them the same answer that Bengal gave to politics of chaos and aggression.

She said, it is a responsibility to think for a moment and stand beside Palestine. I might upset my country but it doesn't matter anymore. Anuparna is a Hindu from West Bengal. But she can't hear the cries of Hindus in West Bengal or in Bangladesh. She knows what is happening in Palestine. But, she has no idea what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh. Pakistan’s Defence Minister has openly threatened to strike Kolkata. And what has Narendra Modi said? Nothing. Yesterday in Cooch Behar, the Prime Minister addressed a rally but didn’t utter a single word about this grave threat to a major Indian city and its people. Is this how little the lives of Bengalis mean to him and his Home Minister? Do we not count as a state of the Indian Union? Do the lives of our people not matter at all? Or is Bengal only useful for milking votes during elections and then left completely abandoned when it faces danger of external aggression?
