Today is autistic pride day. And there is something special about being able to post a video of me stimming, when even going back a year or two years I could never have done that. My autistic traits are the parts of myself I grew up feeling embarrassed about. I wanted to hide it all away, to blend in and be like everyone else. But no matter how hard I tried, I just wasn’t like everyone else, and trying to be broke me. I don’t think autistic pride means you have to love being autistic. I think autistic pride is about taking back the power from the world and the people that wanted me to hide my autistic self. Learning to love myself as I am, accept myself for who I am, and know that I am autistic and that is okay. It is not good, it is not bad - it just IS. I know I am lucky to be able to discover the authentic me, and feel safe to be myself. I am leaning in to the authentic version of me as fully as I can. Happy #AutisticPrideDay. Know that however you feel about this day is okay. However you feel about being autistic is okay. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 (also taking a moment to feel the emotion that I can even post this caption, after years and years of hating myself. this is healing).

Carlos got really honest about privacy and boundaries between some fans and f1 drivers and how fame was fun at the beginning but now he values privacy, he nows actively avoids going out, he asks for fans to be kinder and be a little more self aware when approaching him for an interactions, he loves respectful fans 🤍 Carlos: “I'm going to be honest with this answer. I am not certain where this is at... A neighbor called on the guy next door for washing his car. The police came, with a printout of the law stating it is illegal to wash your car on public property. The issue is this is his driveway, which is private property. But the cop said it is in public viewing and he will site the guy if he continues to wash. At what point are we the people going to say enough? Police are to protect and serve, yet the laws that they have to enforce are fckn absurd sometimes. This is a definite overstep, in terms of being a law... 🤬😓
