FAKE It wasn't Netanyahu, it was Ahmed Dogan, leader of the Bulgarian DPS (Movement for Rights and Freedoms), the party of the Turkish minority. The assailant's name was Oktai Enimehmedov. This happened in Sofia, Bulgaria, on January 19, 2013, during a party congress. Not at the Knesset.

There is no Netanyahu here. It says ДПС and this is not Knesset or Israel. As much as we would love for this to be authentic, it's not.

That video does not show Netanyahu being beaten by Israeli Knesset members. That never happened. It is old footage from January 2013, at a party Congress of Bulgaria’s Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) in Sofia. Party leader Ahmed Dogan was speaking when a man named Oktay Enimehmedov approached the podium and pointed a gas pistol at his head. The weapon misfired; Dogan shoved the attacker’s arm away, after which security and delegates piled on and beat the assailant on the floor. The Cyrillic letters (Movement for Rights and Freedom) visible on the podium (“ДП,” part of ДПС) are a clear giveaway that this is not Israel’s Knesset.
