We've incurred far fewer civilians to combatants lost than just about any urban warfare in modern times." The warnings were real, and Hamas embedding in civilian areas is documented. But the argument has a hole the evacuation orders themselves created: warning people to flee only clears you if somewhere safe existed to flee to. Strikes repeatedly targeted the designated zones, and by the end, the orders were forcing the same displaced population to move back and forth across a territory that offered no exit, with progressively fewer places to seek refuge. The IDF just announced that they conducted the largest operation of the war since October 7th, capturing 358 terrorists, including numerous senior leaders from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which is another terrorist organization in Gaza. Where were they hiding? In the Shifa Hospital. Yeah, the same hospital that the IDF cleared out in November and found signs that Israeli hostages were held there, underground terrorist tunnels, and Hamas’s central command under the hospital. Hamas went back to Shifa and barricaged themselves inside because Hamas hides in hospitals. I don’t know how many times I have to say this, but Hamas continuously puts Palestinian civilians in harms way, by turning hospitals into their terrorist hideouts. Meanwhile, the IDF has been supplying food, water, and generators to the hospital because this is a war against Hamas, not against the Palestinians in Gaza. This is what we’re going up against. And Israel will continue to do everything it can to protect civilians, while targeting Hamas terrorists. Gaza will only be free when Hamas is defeated.

Flashback: Top Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar addressed the issue of using the civilians in Gaza as human shields and admitted that Hamas locates its headquarters within civilian buildings. He claimed that Hamas has more work to do on the issue. Sadly, Hamas terrorists continue to hide behind hospitals, schools, kindergartens, residential buildings, mosques, etc. Hamas is killing the civilians in Gaza by using them as human shields. The international community does not seem to care about the war crimes of Hamas, even when it costs the lives of Gazan civilians. They simply do not care about Gaza or the Palestinians when they cannot blame Israel or Jews.

It appears they are about to enter the northern parts of Gaza to root out Hamas. Please pray for the innocent. IDF announcement sent to civilians of Gaza City: The IDF calls for the evacuation of all civilians of Gaza City from their homes southwards for their own safety and protection and move to the area south of the Wadi Gaza, as shown on the map. The Hamas terrorist organization waged a war against the State of Israel and Gaza City is an area where military operations take place. This evacuation is for your own safety. You will be able to return to Gaza City only when another announcement permitting it is made. Do not approach the area of the security fence with the State of Israel. Hamas terrorists are hiding in Gaza City inside tunnels underneath houses and inside buildings populated with innocent Gazan civilians. Civilians of Gaza City, evacuate south for your own safety and the safety of your families and distance yourself from Hamas terrorists who are using you as human shields.
