Benjamin was right that Daeron is his true self only when he’s with Gwayne. we can clearly see that he’s a completely different person when he’s talking to him. he even calls Ormund a madman & Gwayne has to quickly shush him so their words won’t reach anyone else.

The trust & closeness between them are so evident. They feel like each other’s safe haven & their bond has the kind of tenderness & protectiveness you’d expect from a father & son

Gwayne brings out the best in him... He brings out the dragon in him. The dragon they need him to be, if they were to survive the battle at Tumbletown!!!

I know it’s highly unlikely, but I do hope through creative liberty from the books that those two survive, out of all the Greens, they are genuinely good hearted.

I love how this is a straight parallel for the scene with Ormund backing away from Tessarion but Gwayne wants to save Daeron so he would risk his life for him #hotd

WTF Í was told by someone that knew him really well that when he’s talking about girls his voice starts to change like he’s feeling giddy & it’s obvious to me in this clip. I guarantee you that sooner than later with his dementia he’s going to touch a girl that doesn’t like it.
