Bennett Stirtz just played his last game as a Hawkeye. He changed the program forever. KCCI News

@KCCINews If mediocracy changes a program, then you didn’t have a program in the first place.

@KCCINews Even though the Hawks lost, what a final performance. Did himself proud. Nothing but gratitude for him and this entire team turning the program’s trajectory upward. 💛🖤💛🖤💛

@KCCINews As an Illini fan, much respect for that guy. Hell of a player.

@KCCINews How did he change the program forever? Iowa will be back to mediocrity next year without him. The rest of their team sucks.

@KCCINews

@RoccoMiller8 @KCCINews Please elaborate how he changed the program “forever”. They were a 9 seed with terrible losses that got hot for 2 weeks. Lol, please stop.

@KCCINews Love him and love all he’s done for this program in just one season. Wishing him all the best.

@KCCINews Finna make me cry

@KCCINews That is a MAN there. Carried the team on his shoulders many times. Always had the most heat on him, and took a huge paycut to stay with his coach & start a new dynasty. RESPECT

@KCCINews don’t hang your head Bennett. you and this whole team gave Hawkeye fans a ride we may never experience again. Thank you from me and every Hawk fan out there. Hawks by a million

@KCCINews If only he had any type of help. It was like watching 1v5 out there😂

@SBock247 @KCCINews He will forever be Hawkeye Royalty.

@KCCINews All the best to Stirtz. Can’t thank him enough for what he has done to recharge the program. He has so much going for him. Great competitor. Never gets rattled. Just an absolute baller!

@KCCINews He played one season. Lol

@KCCINews Iowa fans talking about how Bennett Stirtz “changed the program forever” is giving your kid a trophy for losing. Played every minute and lost.

@KCCINews He left it on the court every game! A tremendous player. We’ve enjoyed watching him from Liberty to Iowa!

@KCCINews It was an awesome one year ride with you Bennett. Thank you for coming to Iowa and making us proud.

@KCCINews Glad he's gone, as an Illini fan. He almost single-handedly ended the Illini season. Much respect!

@KCCINews Great kid but genuinely have never seen someone worse in the clutch

@KCCINews That reads like he played his entire collegiate career at Iowa while this was his only year there.

@KCCINews I'm sure he's gutted after bonding with his teammates for a grand total of like 4 months. What a loser.

@KCCINews This coach and the entire team took us to new heights! So proud of all of them! They have revived Iowa Men’s Basketball!

@KCCINews Correction: he took a paycheck to play someplace for one year.

@KCCINews He was great for them. Idk about changing the program forever.

@KCCINews yes he did, but he is one of many that have.

@KCCINews Shower in those pussy ass tears wow

@KCCINews Good job, kid! You made Iowa proud!

@KCCINews Love this guy.

@KCCINews

@KCCINews Surprised he didn't flop on his way to the locker room again.

@S_Janowski @KCCINews 🫶🏻

@KCCINews He played there for one year?

@KCCINews Dawg I’m an Iowa hater but stirtz isn’t top 3 in the 2020s

@HonchoMonchoHwk @KCCINews

@ChrisDouglas515 @KCCINews Thanks for being a Hawkeye!
