Manitoba, you’ve changed your clocks for the last time. We are just going to stay on summer time a.k.a. Central Daylight Time, a.k.a. The time it is right now. What does this mean for Manitobans? No more changing clocks twice a year. More evening daylight in summer time. More light for your drive home from work in the winter. Less disruptions to sleep and routines. No more springing forward or falling back. So this November 1st, the times they will NOT be a changin’.

This is not Ai. This is from years ago in Ireland. I saved it on my phone and whenever I feel down and the World is getting to me I watch this on a loop for a mind reset. Works every time. I love the fact there are people out there doing this kind of thing to give others joy. JOY! That is the word. We need more JOY. JOY up your day and watch this on a loop or download it to your phone and do what I do for that JOY refix. Or share this with your friends and give them some JOY. x #joy #bigbird #sesamestreet #love

Dr. Michelle Davenport drops a mind-blowing grocery store fact: The average apple on supermarket shelves is over a year old—often 9–14 months from harvest. Apples are picked in late summer/fall, then stored in controlled-atmosphere warehouses (low oxygen, low temp) to halt ripening and keep them "fresh" year-round. Result? By the time you bite in during spring or summer, that crisp apple could be from last year's crop. She ties it to nutrition: Studies show vitamin C (a freshness proxy) drops significantly during long storage and shipping. Flash-frozen produce often retains more nutrients because it's locked in right after harvest—no waiting months. Clip from this 1:11 eye-opener—next time you're in the produce aisle, remember: "Fresh" doesn't always mean fresh-picked. Does this make you rethink supermarket produce? Opt for local/seasonal more? Or switch to frozen for better nutrition? Your thoughts—let's hear it.

Meet Mahalingappa Itnal, a farmer from Karnataka who just changed the game.🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽 For centuries, jaggery (gur) has been made almost exclusively from sugarcane, a crop that takes nearly a full year to grow and demands huge amounts of water. But Mahalingappa stood in his corn fields and asked a question so simple it had been overlooked for generations: “Why are we throwing away the stalks?” Corn stalks are usually treated as waste and burned, discarded, or left to rot after the harvest. Mahalingappa saw potential instead of waste. Through experimentation and persistence, he figured out how to extract juice from corn stalks and convert it into jaggery. The result? A nutritious, natural sweetener made from a crop that matures in just 90–120 days. This single insight quietly disrupts an entire system. Corn requires far less water than sugarcane, grows faster, and is already cultivated widely across India. Farmers can now earn additional income from what was once agricultural waste, without waiting a full year for returns. Less water stress. Less burning of crop residue. More resilience for small farmers. What makes this even more powerful is that the solution didn’t come from a lab, a multinational, or a billion dollar agri-tech firm. It came from lived knowledge, observation, and indigenous innovation , something Indian farmers have always had, but are rarely credited for. Time and again, traditional wisdom and grassroots innovation were dismissed as “unscientific” or “backward.” Only later does modern science arrive to validate what farmers already knew instinctively: that nature wastes nothing, and sustainability lies in working with the land, not extracting from it. Mahalingappa Itnal didn’t just make jaggery from corn stalks. He redefined waste, challenged monoculture thinking, and reminded us that some of the most powerful innovations grow quietly in our fields. Yes, corn stalk jaggery is more nutritional, not by hype, but by chemistry and biology. This is the future of agriculture. It’s local, regenerative, farmer-led.

Hey, you 🫵🏿🫵🏿 When making Nigerian fried rice, make sure to FRY YOUR RICE with onions, veg oil and unsalted butter (on low heat for about 3-5 mins) before boiling with chicken or turkey stock. Stock not water 🌚 WASH YOUR RICE MULTIPLE TIMES .. AT LEAST 5 TIMES (the plan is to get as much starch out of the rice as possible .. this is to avoid soggy rice). For seasoning, I only use maggi powder (because my stock is well seasoned so make sure yours is too). If you want that yellow / greenish colour, add curry and turmeric powder. Make sure to FRY your veggies. Fry with unsalted butter and vegetable oil. If you’re using shrimp / prawns .. fry, remove and set aside. Do not fry it with your veggies otherwise it’ll become rubbery and hard. Add once rice is done. If you’re adding liver, boil and fry in a separate pan before adding it to your veggies. You can use fresh or frozen veggies (if you’re using frozen, make sure to defrost it first). In my opinion, less is more with fried rice, don’t over complicate it with veggies. Once again, Setara golden basmati rice is your guy (any golden sella basmati rice will do)

Introducing $Harvest, a token on Robinhood Chain. Most tokens reward whoever sells first, we built the opposite. Here's how it all works. The loop: trade → creator fees → buyback → airdrop to harvesters Every trade of $Harvest generates creator fees. Those fees are used to buy $Harvest back on the open market, and every token bought back is airdropped to harvesters, meaning anyone who harvests their tokens via our website, more info can be found on our website. Airdrops land straight in your wallet. Nothing to claim, nothing to remember. Your share: amount locked × hours locked = your weight Lock for any term you like, from 1 hour to 1 year. 1,000 tokens for 30 days carries the same weight as 10,000 tokens for 3 days. Lock more, or lock longer, and your slice of every buyback grows. You won't find an APR number here because we're not going to invent one. What you receive is $Harvest bought with real fees, in proportion to what you committed. Your lock: lock → term runs out → withdraw lock → leave early → penalty to the treasury The contract holds your tokens, not us. When your term ends you take them back. Leave early and you pay a penalty, which goes to the treasury. Patience is the whole point. Check it yourself: Every contract address, with a link to its verified source on the explorer, is listed at Every buyback and every airdrop is a transaction you can open. The board at only shows records it has confirmed on-chain, so if it's on the board, it happened. How the trust model works, and where its limits are: The launchpad: launch → bonding curve → own vault → harvest every 30 min → lockers claim ETH None of this is reserved for $Harvest. The same machinery is open to anyone who wants to launch a token on Robinhood Chain. Launch from and your token goes live on Pons v2's bonding curve with its own HarvestVault deployed alongside it, automatically. No contracts to write, no team to hire. Every creator fee your token earns, in ETH, lands in that vault instead of a wallet. Your holders lock for a term, weighted by amount × hours, exactly like $Harvest. Every 30 minutes anyone can trigger a harvest: the vault takes your share as creator, which you set at launch and can never raise above 50%, and credits the rest to your lockers by weight. They claim their ETH straight from the contract. Nobody, including you and including us, can touch locked tokens or unclaimed ETH. There is no owner, no pause button and no upgrade path. Leave a lock early and 10% of it is burned. Fill the curve and the token graduates to a live pool. Your holders get a reason to stay, and you get a token where nobody has to trust you. How to launch: How vaults work: $Harvest is live on Robinhood Chain. The only official $Harvest contract: 0x22d141f768b4dc6108c1e8712b10aca9a5c603dc
