Benson is actually such a reasonable boss. He screams at them a lot but they deserve it. Look at muscle man and high five ghost, much much bigger issues and jerks than kordecai and rigby, but the do their jobs, and do them well, so he respects them

Ngl, even as a kid, I never saw Benson as being mean, like yeah he can get very angry lots of times, but the vast majority of the problems are Mordecai and Rigby's fault. It kind of reminded me of how some "Mean Teachers" are with Problematic Students

I was 15 when this show debuted. I was on Benson’s side since then. Mordecai and Rigby being main characters doesn’t make me on their side. Those 2 piss me off so much in highschool because they remind me of the teenage little shits that have zero respect for our teachers.
