So here’s the thing. Now we have the budget we can see what the Republicans want to do with YOUR money. Let’s begin with the debt ceiling. The party that throughout the 2024 election campaign screamed every day, the national debt was out of control, is now wanting to up the U.S. credit card limit by $4.5 trillion. Just for reference, this equates to around $13,200 for EVERY AMERICAN. Debt interest alone is the third largest expense of the government. In 2024. the cost of servicing the U.S. national debt was $308 billion, which is 13% of total federal spending. So why raise the US credit limit by $4.5 trillion? Well that would be to match the $4.5 trillion line item in the budget for tax cuts. Great I hear you shout, rubbing your hands, ‘so let’s see what that means for MAGA ME?’ No tax on overtime? NO No tax on Tips? That would be a NO too No tax on Social Security. You can forget that too. I don’t think you get it. Daddy Trump takes $13,200 from EVERY member of your family and hands it to the top 1% of earners. Fox News tells you that’s fair and insist that if you’re patriotic, you should think it’s fair too. While you’re pulling your pants up and lighting up a postcoital cigarette, let me explain further. Because the tax cuts maxed out the new credit card limit and the debt interest alone is crippling, Daddy Trump had to find massive cuts in public programs and services to keep the MAGA train on the tracks. You know, things like wiping out Medicaid, slashing SNAP etc etc etc. Oh and if y’all check your bank account online, you’ll see the $13,200 deduction for each of your family members has been donated to daddy Trump to keep fighting for YOU. Remember DOGE? They were the guys who implemented scorched earth spending cuts based on all that fraud they told you they found. Remember? You cheered Elon on. with statements like ‘I’m lovin’ it’ and ‘Burn baby burn’. It was just too much winning. You were beside yourself at owning the Libs, remember? Then you woke up from the fiscal date rape drug that Trump dropped in the drink that DOGE gave you. By the time you were fully conscious, the top 1% had made off with all the cash and you were left with the carcass of your former public services. No good calling the police because the DOJ are on a yacht drinking champagne with the Oligarchs that now have your money. Don’t even think about protesting, because Mad King Don will invoke the insurrection Act and we all know how that ends. Elections? What elections? They’re a thing of the past I’m afraid. 🎥 TikTok - @the.paper.news

Caller: “I’m thinking about filing for bankruptcy.” Dave Ramsey: “Okay… that’s a serious step. What’s going on?” Caller: “My wife and I bring home about $7,700 a month, but she’s talking about separating. If I’m on my own, I’m down to about $3,850 a month and I’m basically underwater every month.” Dave Ramsey: “So the marriage is already under a lot of pressure.” Caller: “Yeah… there’s been a lot of resentment from how I’ve been over the last year and a half.” Dave Ramsey: “Were you present at home during that time?” Caller: “Not really. We’ve got a six-year-old daughter.” Dave Ramsey: “That matters. Because money stress is one of the biggest pressures in a marriage. When people say ‘you weren’t present,’ a lot of times what they really mean is ‘we were drowning financially.’” Caller: “That could be very possible.” Dave Ramsey: “So let’s talk numbers. What debt are we dealing with?” Caller: “About $75,000 total outside the house. Credit cards, an HVAC loan, and a few smaller balances. Most of it was from trying to keep things afloat and, honestly, some bad spending choices.” Dave Ramsey: “Okay. So this isn’t bankruptcy territory.” Caller: “It isn’t?” Dave Ramsey: “No. The math says you’re not broke. You’re just disorganized and under pressure.” “If you’ve got $7,700 coming in as a couple, this is fixable.” “But it only works if you stop hiding, stop guessing, and both of you decide to actually fight the problem together.” Caller: “We’ve never really been on the same page with the money.” Dave Ramsey: “Then that’s the real issue, not the debt.” “Because if you stay married and you work together, you could clean this up fairly quickly.” “But it’s going to require a full reset.” “No more credit cards. No more secret spending. Every dollar on a plan. Every expense visible. Both of you aware of what’s going on at all times.” “And yeah, it’s going to be tight for a while. But that’s how you get your life back on track.”

Elon Musk: Bill Gates is “not strong in the sciences.” “I just wanna say, Billy G is not my lover.” “You'd think that someone like Bill Gates, who started a technology company that's one of the biggest companies in the world, Microsoft, you'd think he'd be really quite strong in the sciences.” “But actually, he is not strong in the sciences.” “The reality of the whole climate change thing is that you've just had people who say it doesn't exist at all, and then people who are super alarmist saying Florida is going to be underwater in 5 years.” “And obviously neither of those two positions are true.” “The reality is, you can measure the carbon concentration in the atmosphere.” “At some point, if you continue to take billions, eventually trillions of tons of carbon from deep underground, and transfer it to the atmosphere and oceans, you will change the chemical constituency of the atmosphere and oceans.” “You just literally will.” “And the reality is that, in my opinion, we've got at least 50 years before it's a serious issue.” “I don't think we've got 500 years, but we've probably got, you know, 50. It's not 5 years.” “The concern level for climate change is on the order of 50 years. It's definitely not 5, and I think it probably isn't 500.” “So really, the right course of action is actually just the reasonable course of action, which is to lean in the direction of sustainable energy.”

Elon Musk reveals the environmentalist viewpoint he says has become total madness "There are 8 billion people on Earth and it would be better if there were none. I'm like, 'hey buddy, you can start with yourself. See if you really want to make a difference'" "That's like a crazy viewpoint. That's like literally saying, let's genocide humanity. How can you say that with a straight face? That sounds like total madness" "In the limit of environmentalism, it becomes like an ingrown toenail. A toenail's fine, but not if it's warped and ingrown. It's just gone too far" "Humanity is not a blight on the face of the Earth" "Even with climate change, life on Earth will still continue. The calamities Earth has suffered where life continued, gigantic meteorite impacts, super volcanoes, continents drifting all over the place" "There've been times in Earth's past where it's been like a total snowball or absolutely sweltering hot. We had many extinction events, but life continued" "We don't see the dinosaurs now, but they had a good run for 100 plus million years" "Even if there's catastrophic climate change, life continues. It just may not be life as we know it. It may not be humans, it'll be something else" "What we're talking about with climate change is not a threat to all life on Earth, but really maybe a threat to humans, a dislocation if low-lying countries end up underwater" "Over time we need to move to a sustainable energy economy. We can't just keep taking billions of tons of carbon from deep underground and putting it in the atmosphere and expect nothing will happen forever" "But we also don't need to be alarmist about it and super negative and massively disrupt people's lifestyles" "People can continue to live a normal life. They shouldn't feel guilty about being human or having a stake. It's fine"
