Brian Johnson's band before joining AC/DC. The band was called Geordie. Bon Scott, lead singer of AC/DC, used to go to see Brian perform. Bon told the Young brothers that if anything ever happened to him, Brian was the ideal replacement singer for AC/DC. The rest is history.

Even 12 years later, this Bluegrass AC/DC cover still gives goosebumps. What a performance.

Playing guitar on AC/DC from 1973 until his final live show with the band in June 2010, Malcolm Young was AC/DC's rock star, touring the world with some breaks during his 37 years with the band. He continued writing songs for AC/DC until his voluntary departure in 2014, being replaced by his nephew Stevie. As a member of AC/DC, Malcolm Young was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
