Rubbish. The tail rotor needs to be active too to counter the gyro effect. The energy generated by winding the elastic band is insufficient. The main rotors are disproportionate to the mass of the body and will provide little or no lift by using lolly sticks.

It is rubbish. That’s why are you never see the full tail in the screen because someone is lifting it up.

cute, but the spinning paper blades aren't what is giving it lift. Someone (off camera) is lifting it by the tail.

I think there’s a hand holding the tail for the cup to move up…
