Keri Hilson opens up about her "regret" around the "Turnin Me On" remix, which appeared to be a shot at Beyoncé and other women in R&B. Hilson says, in so many words, that she was "forced" by Polow Da Don to record the remix (which she didn't write), or else her music would be in jeopardy. Then, it mysteriously "leaked." Keri claims she's always been a fan of Beyoncé, but she protected Polow (who went on to work with Beyoncé) and the woman who wrote the remix, Ester Dean. 🎥: The Breakfast Club 🔗:

[News] Respect across generations as older generations recognize the cultural impact and pride BTS brings to Korea. 👤: Is there a special reason you came out here (gwanghwamun) today? 🧓: Yes, I heard BTS had a performance here yesterday, I came out to see if it ended well and just to look around. 👤: Oh, I see. BTS are world stars from Korea, after all 🧓: Of course, I'm so interested and know them well 👤: I see you weren't able to be here in person yesterday and watched it on TV instead. What were your thoughts after watching? 🧓: I felt so proud. As a Korean, I'm proud that such superstars were born in Korea 👤: Yesterday was truly incredible, I believe it was broadcast in about 190 countries on Netflix and a massive number of ARMY fans gathered here 🧓: It was packed all the way to City Hall 👤: They've certainly played a big role in raising South Korea's international profile 🧓: Absolutely, they are patriots 👤: Patriots, I strongly agree with that

"In our hearts, we're still family, but in reality, we're not family anymore. 😁 Because we're no longer under the same company." #아이콘 #위너 👤: #WINNER hyungs said they want to do a joint concert with #iKON 🍒: Where did they say that? Was it at their concert? Oh, really? But how did they end up singing our song at their concert this time? I actually had no idea. If the opportunity comes, we'd definitely be up for it. I think it'd be really fun to do it with (WINNER) hyungs. Have we ever done a joint concert before? Other than (YG) family concerts, I don't think we've ever done one. There was a time when WINNER performed one day and iKON on another day, but I don't think we've ever actually held a joint concert together. 👤: I miss the Family concert. 🍒: That's a past we can't go back to. In our hearts, we're still family, but in reality, we're not family anymore. 😁 Because we're no longer under the same company.

the radio DJs were shocked to see the photo of evan’s busking event and the number of people that turned up for it 😭 👤 there was a busking performance at mulbit stage. it was evan’s very first busking…. wow, it was livestreamed and 10,000 people tuned in?? 10,000 people watched it? how many people came in person? 🦌 we originally had about 300 people to sit in the chairs.. but there were also people who came separately to watch from behind 👤 if someone saw this, they’d think it was AI generated. how are there so many people packed in so tightly.. 🦌 *laughs* ahh it was such a great experience and the weather was so nice 👤*still shocked* that’s not even a busking performance anymore. that’s basically a concert!

Ok as an apology for forgetting there was a SPLIT animated music video and never finishing it, I will share some split lore. The version of split that you’ve heard was originally supposed to be a remix for a charity compilation in 2020(?). The “real” version was meant to be on Trust Ceremony (which was an entirely different album back then). So the remixed one came out on Bandcamp and I figured ok that’s done, back to work on the album version. The producer of the remix got rlly offended that I didn’t wanna do an official release of it (I like it. It just wouldn’t have fit on the album. I think they were hoping I would like it so much that it would replace my version. I did not). BUT I figured there’s no harm in doing a lyric video for the remix and releasing it, then saving the “REAL” animated video for the album version later. Might even be cooler to have 2 of em! Anyways, shortly after that, I completely changed directions with the album, both sonically and conceptually. After that happened, I just couldn’t see a place for a Good Value Dresden Dolls track on the record, so scrapped it and forgot about the video entirely until now. So here’s that version. I still think it’s fun

Found it on Threads. 🇰🇷GP wrote, "[I have a 🤏, yet special connection with BTS. In July 2016, while serving as the security coordinator at the Ulsan Jungbu Police Station, I went onsite to manage the Summer Festival held at Dongcheon Gymnasium. On a sweltering summer day, students who had been lining up since the day before the concert got into a dispute over the entry order. At the time, I couldn't understand why they were going to such lengths, so I asked, "Who on earth are you here to see that you're doing all this?" Everyone answered, "BTS!!!!." That was the first time I had ever heard of them. While watching the performers in the waiting area behind the stage, I noticed one group among the many artists who were practicing their dance formations relentlessly. I asked a staff member who they were, and the answer was 'BTS.' That was the first time I looked at them with genuine interest. I had never seen a group practice so hard right up until the moment they stepped onto the stage. They were the real deal. A true star had appeared. Because of that encounter, I started following their activities from time to time and cheering them on in my heart. Not long ago, before a performance at #BTS_ARİRANG Gwanghwamun, I posted on Threads that we should tolerate some level of inconvenience for a BTS concert and showed my support, but I ended up getting terrorized by hate comments. Still, I definitely have a keen eye for people! I am so proud of #BTS!!! ]

if there’s one thing i’m thankful for in how things turned out for our boys, it’s that none of them are left alone. at least they have each other in some capacity.. minhyun: after the last concert, daehwi called me everyday for a couple of months crying daehwi: yeah, it was so hard on me emotionally
