The thick, dark smoke indicates that he is carrying diesel. Petrol produces a much lighter, ash kind of smoke and burns much more vigorous because it burns mainly in gaseous form. If it were petrol, nothing anywhere close to it would make it out in one piece.

This guy sure knows how to keep calm in moments of tension. He has also shown experience. I applaud him. But the people around? Very poor approach. When you see a tanker burning, please, run away from there and call the 🔥 fire service people. I Know this is Nigeria but try first. Safety is also an attitude besides being an action. Standing there and filming this ? What of an explosion? You can die or sustain injuries that leaves you in miserable state thereafter. That's my one cent shay. End.

@LifeOfLade Don't even know whether to say the driver was brave or stupiiid. He risked it there. My heart almost skipped when he alighted and went to the back of the burning tanker to detach the head, I thought he will kpai. Anyway, kudos for saving the semi- trailer tractor.
