You motivated me. I have my milk “scalded” to 180° to release the whatever within the something and now I’m waiting for it to cool back down to 105° before adding the yeast and sugar. Let me know if anyone cares and wants updates.

Might those a try…. Garlic makes it better tho

Mine this morning - sourdough discard

Your recipe is almost identical to one that I use to make my son's sandwich buns; it's absolutely delicious!! I top mine with an egg wash instead of butter.

Just mix your yeast in warm water first and let it get active. And a second or even a third raise does wonders if you want your bread light.

Finally a decent video that is actually about how to make something rather than seeking attention…, I might try this….Thank you for sharing.

@grok transcribe video into a written recipe

I made a couple of different ones (recipe). This one is hands down the best!!!!

Would you like to meet my son?

Looks like Japanese milk bread

10x better to just use 1/4 cup, the rest water.

Turned out amazing for being my first time making bread! Great recipe 🥰

I am 54 & being schooled by a child. I have underwear older than her! (And, yes, I will be making these Thursday. Dang my family for not teaching me to cook!)
