best playstation startup sound?

PS1 by a mile. There's an aura and an air of mystery about it

Of course

PS2 is iconic af

PS1 for me. Then pS2

PS2 was the best! The joy of hearing that sound after a long battle with a faulty disc, in which the whole squad had taken turns wiping it, and then finally that logo comes up, is priceless 😅

Hearing the ps1 into to this day…

PS1, then PS2, the rest suck

@SoUnserious_ They did PS1 right. It sounds like “Yeahh mf, you know what tf time it is!”.

PS2 is the GOAT

This was the startup I was most afraid

PS1 without a doubt. PS2 is very close

I raise you PSP

Just because of bias. It's PlayStation 1 for me.

Those of you who confidently say it’s psOne clearly never played ps2. Yall are all capping. Ps2 sold 160million copies alone. PsOne sold 102m. ps3 sold only 87m copies which is literally the worst gaming console ever made by PlayStation. Ps4 sold 117m and ps5 sold 92m. Up till date, no game console comes close to ps2. Infact, ps2 is so legendary that up till date people still buy the console while psOne became obsolete in 2006. Come on!

The PS1 sound gives me chills. Everything about the PS1 embodied the new era of gaming, the start up sound included. Going from SNES to PS1 was like discovering teleportation.

Y’all underrate the PS3 fr🤣

Only right answer is the PS1 for their nostalgia sound, even looking at the logo I can hear the sound

PS2 was the breakthrough , PS2 all day

Ps4 every time I hear it. Too many hrs clocked in on that succulent console.

PS2 has both the best and worst one. We all remember the feeling when it went red and you add to restart it and hope again.

PS1. It has no equal.

Man, PS1 is still my absolute favorite That weird dreamy chime just hits different, straight mystery and hype. I still remember first hearing it back in '96. Instant goosebumps every time. PS2’s spinning disc and PS3’s dramatic one are sick too, but PS1 wins for pure nostalgia🎮

first, always

Ps1 no contest

Ps2

The original 💯 Gets you amped for action!!

The best I think is PS1 but PS2 has the most nostalgia for me

ps2

PS1 for sure

PS2 will always be the best to me🙏🏼

初代。 むしろモンハンの初期のフィールドマップくらい初期が記憶に刻まれてる。

PS1 always. That sound comes with memories of always praying not to have disc read errors 😭
