First of all congratulations ! But at the same time it's shameful that even after nine years BEST couldn't erect bus shade at Sarota pada Veera Desai Andheri. This issue was raised in presence of Lodha , minister in Nov.2022 at his Janta Darbar in Andheri

Most impressive of all was his Double-A performance, where Nichols dominated to a 0.97 ERA through 37 IP (six starts) against high-level talent.

Three bus incidents in 24 hours - Fire in Kandivali bus, rash driving in Kala Killa depot and a bus collision at Wadala depot, all within a day. Mumbai's public transport buses- BEST undertaking - have gone to the dogs. With the Maharashtra government's mandate and directive to generate revenue from multiple sources, all other aspects like basic maintenance practices and work culture are being heavily neglected. The administration just seems to be focussing on revenue generation ideas, nothing else. All other accountability is under wraps, the media has been blacked out, officials out of bounds and the management of this once-iconic undertaking is in its worse phase. Ironic, that the motor bus completes its centenary this year in Mumbai. Yes. The BEST had introduced their first bus in 1926, exactly a century ago. Some celebration! Let's hope that at least the BEST committee of elected representative corporators of the BMC that takes charge next week will instil some sense of professionalism in them.
