Bet that was LOUD 😶🌫️💀

Once the concussion settles and the ringing stops.

To put it mildly. In WW1, it was usually the concussion which killed the soldiers in a bunker after such hit, not an actual penetration.

Fake! No naval gun shots; the casing with the shell.

How I feel after I eat a pound bag of beef jerky.

Considering some of the stories I've seen lately I have to ask. Did anybody pull the explosives out of that before they made it in museum piece?

Bullshit! That brass part stays in the breech! Sucky ai

judging from all the other similar impact, i would have to guess this a small piece of a larger test piece. inert projectile

VA, "your tinnitus rating is 10%."

You think there was a guy behind that wall who shat his pants when that hit?

Amazing what one AR-15 round can do.

Today's what happens when you get hit by a fully semi automatic AK-15

god damn i need the guy that built this wall

That is presumably “penetrator” that is inert metal like tungsten, and the does not contain explosive or propellant like some comments suggest. I don’t know ordnance of this type but do know small arms ammunition. Maybe @grok can elucidate.

Here's a little ditty about Krupp Armor testing in Russia

Look at the other holes in that plate they pieced right through it that one likely a dud round

Look! a 5.56 round

Why wasn't the tip deformed? This is suspicious.

There would have been red-hot spall thrown off of the in-side of that, too. One wouldn't live, near it, regardless.

Guerra não é coisa de amadores

@grok where can I see this and what is this?

I could pull that out

This is what 5.56 does to a tank…

Not as loud as it could have been

Pretty crazy that even metal goes non-Newtonian when hit hard enough.

Wwll sucks

Music please!!!

@grok what’s the story behind this ?

What are the other holes around the top edge?

@grok quel est le titre de la musique ?

Hot too

Ooooh

AR-15?
