Look, I don’t know why Sharknado exists, maybe just because humanity lost a bet with itself, but I sure as hell don’t understand how it spawned sequels. That said, I’d rather strap myself down and marathon every last one of those cinematic dumpster fires than stomach another one of Disney’s modern bastardizations of the classics I grew up with. At least Sharknado doesn’t pretend it’s anything but garbage. Disney takes a steaming dump on your childhood, slaps a CGI smile on it, and dares you to call it magic.
