You know, when it’s your birthday, there are people who text you right away as soon as it passes midnight and then there are people who reach out at some point during the day. Of course the people you’re really close with will congratulate you right away, but looking back at my life so far, there are also people who don’t usually stay in touch but will reach out at least once just because it’s your birthday. Honestly, I find myself feeling even more grateful for those people. Because even though we don't usually talk, they reached out specifically because it's my birthday. I feel like unless you genuinely care, you wouldn't really do that, and that's why it makes me feel even more grateful

This is a great video by Mike Winger. Many people who don’t know my story think I grew up in the church. I actually grew up in an Atheist home and I was told not to question science or the belief that there is no God. I had many questions and I was encouraged not to ask them. That doesn’t sound like critical thinking or free thinking. Search for the truth yourself to be sure of what you believe. That’s why I encourage Christians to know what you believe and why you believe it.
