When your pain, fear or resentment is consuming you, no one else can pull you out of the dark, because you ARE the dark. Your mindset. Your thoughts. YOU CONTROL where you work & live, who you live with, what you eat & drink, what time you sleep, how you think, how you feel, how you spend your energy & what you do with your spare time. YOU! These things may feel out of your control but they're not. They're all things we can change if we're unhappy but our MINDSET has us convinced we can't, by playing on our fears of the unknown & our own weaknesses. 'What if I can't find other work?' 'What if I don't find anyone else?' 'I don't have time to cook!' 'I don't have time to workout!' 'I have nothing to feel happy about' 'I can't sleep!' Your life will not change, unless YOU do! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! I haven’t missed a workout in over 10+ years 0 misses in over 3650 days is great discipline if you zoom out however, that doesn’t mean each workout is perfect, not rested, don’t have enough food, not enough time, etc but none of that matters if you showed up and tried your best finishing this, then flying with the team to vegas for the weekend! we’re focusing on the 1st workout of this 4 week period, attempting to push my limits here, going for 110% attempts usually I stay around 80-90% work for most then try to max out once in a while but we hit our max today!!!! ahhhh find what works for you and stay consistent to it id say it’s been a key factor to an understanding that life and business is a marathon it may not be a sprint but we can work on running on pace faster and without pain health is wealth

The last time I, Cara was out to visit Scott and April, Scott asked me what it meant when I told him I identified as a brat. A brat is a label in a kink dynamic. They are usually a sub (submissive), but they rarely ever just do what is asked of them. They often make it a challenge for the Dom and require a lot of wit and banter to engage with them. Want me to stay hydrated? I’ll send you a video of water dribbling out of my mouth. Picked out an outfit for me to wear? I’ll wear something very similar. Tell me you’re in a meeting? I’ll send you a picture of my… whoopsie! Over the years I’ve discovered that being a BRAT can help you navigate injuries in your workouts. Brats are: Putting an emphasis on fun. Always pushing it. Finding the edges of what you can do without going too far. When working with an injury or limitation in the gym you want those things. Finding movement that brings you joy can be instrumental during a time when you may feel as if your body is failing you. Pushing things just enough to constantly challenge yourself will allow you to not get stuck in corrective exercises and make consistent progress. But by using the mouse to scroll it turns out to be kinda janky and it doesn't look very good? No? Just me? 🤭 Well, I found out that if you paste this code in the console of your browser: ` setInterval(() => window.scrollBy(0, 4), 16); ` You can make the browser automatically scroll for you! And it looks super cool in the recording! 😎
