Such a great movie. RIP John Ashton and thanks for entertaining us so well. Btw, do watch ‘AxelF’ on Netflix, featuring Eddie Murphy, John Ashton, and Judge Reinhold. It’s good viewing.

Eddie, who usually avoided caffeine, had some on this day, due to a long shoot, so he was wired. Ashton was pinching his nose and Reinhold was pinching his thigh to avoid laughing and ruining the take.

Amazing to think Eddie Murphy was only 23 years old in Beverly Hills Cop! 😮

You ever listen to the Director's commentary on the DVD extras section? He said he based Taggart & Rosewood on Laurel & Hardy as he was a big fan. With Taggart, you sure could see the similarities to Oliver Hardy's facial expressions & reactions & I loved that.

And the great Ronny Cox as Det. Bogomil. His first movie appearance was in "Deliverance" way back 1972. Had his own TV series "Apple's Way" on CBS '74-75. My mom used to see him all the time at various music festivals around the USA. Loves his band. Cox is 86 years old now.
