The midair ballet of the bald eagle is definitely a courtship ritual, but this same behavior can also be the result of a territorial dispute. In my experience, a dominant female will always be the aggressor. The dynamics are interesting to watch. If she has not eaten, she will attack any others who get too close to her spot by grabbing them by the talons, swinging them around in circles, and tossing them below. It appears to be an act of humiliation with the dominant bird claiming victory over territory and food. If she has eaten, she doesn’t seem to mind sharing and will usually “allow” others to come into her territory and feed.

I haven’t been online much and am just now seeing this, but I am trusting that the family has handled the situation appropriately. Tyla needs to understand she is not on the level of Beyoncé and never will be. Beyoncé represents a lineage that created the blueprint for modern music and built the very stage Tyla is standing on. Tyla is a one hit wonder trying to measure herself against a global icon, and that is laughable. Without the work and sacrifice of Foundational Black Americans, she would not have a platform or an audience at all. Posting a picture of Beyoncé looking tipsy was not innocent. It was shade. And since it has now been confirmed that this is Tyla’s official X account, that is exactly why this insult had to be addressed directly. The irony is that Tyla had to be carried to a vehicle because she was so drunk. Rumor has it she passed out after seeing how low her album sales were. How did that #Corrie episode today turn into Lisa hate? I'm so confused by what she's done this time. The reactions in both scenes are that of any other loving mother, It hurts them more than us when we fly the nest, I think more so if it's an only child. Lisa is a copper, she sees all the bad in the world, which will always be at the forefront of her mind. Shes well aware of what can happen in a big city like London. Her worries are valid, it doesn't make her any less happy for Betsy and her achievement but there was always going to be reservations. For Lisa she is a mother first and foremost who loves her kid more than life itself.

Warning: A foreign man in a pink shirt has been stopping and asking tourists for money around Walking Street and Pattaya Beach. He covers his face and tries to start conversations, claiming he has lived in Pattaya for a long time and knows everything and every place around the area. He gradually steers the conversation toward asking for money. If tourists refuse, he becomes verbally abusive and walks away. The man is reportedly carrying a stun device and wanders around all night. Witnesses say he has been seen for months wearing the same clothes and covering his face while pacing around repeatedly throughout the night. People are warning others to be careful and asking authorities to keep an eye on the situation because he appears quite dangerous. Witnesses also say he sometimes shouts to himself in public, continues hiding his face under a hat, and wears the same outfit constantly. There have also been incidents where he verbally abused women along the beach after inviting them to sleep with him and being rejected.

Today we are leaving for North Bengal. I will be staying there for two days to see rescue and restoration works there. My Chief Secretary is accompanying me, DG of Police has already gone there. Police and administration have been doing rescue and restoration operations in all affected areas. Community kitchens have been opened, distressed people are being given all-out support. Tourists are being safely evacuated and where hotel accommodation is to be arranged, that will be done at our cost. North Bengal State Transport Corporation and our other transport organisations are mobilizing streams of special Volvo and long-distance buses for evacuating the stranded tourists. While death cannot be compensated, we shall give Rs 5 lakh to the families of each deceased, and a Special Homeguard' s job to a kin in each such family as a special gesture. I shall visit some areas in North Bengal today and tomorrow, and our administration will reach out all humanitarian help to all those affected by the flood in each place. If the Central Government did its job of dredging of the Ganga-Hugli river at several critical points, and if DVC did its desiltation works which it is not wilfully doing, if their dams and barrages were not so used in this manner against us, and if central government money was spent for the necessary public works in Bengal rather than squandering funds away in other unrelated pursuits, our people would have been spared of the man- made flood that we are facing in large tracts of North and South Bengal in this season. Our own Irrigation works and check dams etc have been useful in arresting the damages in many areas. We are there, always, every moment. Sharing some photos showing our police, fire brigade and disaster management officers and men in rescue operations at this moment.
