Back in September 2024, Sony approached Pearl Abyss with a deal to make Crimson Desert a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive. Crimson Desert will get pitch black at night, similar to Dragon's Dogma 2. Pearl Abyss also confirmed the game will have RT global illumination on PC, similar to AC Shadows and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Best method to get Unlimited Abyss Artifacts and Abyss Gears in Crimson Desert: 🔸 Go to this location near Wayward Woods in Pailune and activate the Abyss Nexus point. 🔸 Go straight, and you will find an Icewalker boss in the area. After defeating the boss, you will get an Abyss Artifact or Abyss Gear every time, sometimes both. 🔸 After defeating the boss, fast travel to the nearby Abyss Nexus point, and the boss will respawn. Repeat the process to get Abyss Gear and Artifacts. 🔸 Don’t collect the Abyss Cell otherwise, it will not work. This boss is pretty easy to defeat, even if you're in the early to mid-game. If you have already collected the cell, load an old save, it will work. 🔸 Full guide in the video below.

Pearl Abyss has finally shared some base PlayStation 5 Crimson Desert gameplay footage. Overall the footage looks quite impressive, however there is one thing that bothers me and that is those unnecessary cuts in the footage. I can’t judge how stable a frame-rate is in a video-game when there are constant cuts like these ones.
