Nyheim Hines (Nyheim Hines) hosted his 5th annual youth football camp at TrojanAthletics on Saturday -- the same place his football career took off. The former NC State Football standout and now NFL veteran spent hours on the field with players of all ages, running drills and teaching fundamentals of the game. Afterward, he signed autographs for every single person in line, which lasted more than an hour. Why is it important for him to take that time to pour into his community? He says he didn't have an NFL player to look up to when he was growing up, and he wants to be that person for kids today.

Benjy Taylor said that a group of football players from Morehead had been vocal all game from their seats next to the Tuskegee bench. He went to the end of the handshake line after the game and some of the football players were behind him the line. He tried to diffuse the situation, asked a police officer for help to remove the football players. The next thing he knew he was being handcuffed. He said that the handcuffs were removed quickly by the police when he left the court. Here’s some more video.

Von Miller says his dad banned him from football, so his mom secretly signed him up and made him change into his pads in the back of a Suburban for an entire season "After school, went home, my dad said no. Said we were too young, which he was right. Football is such a violent sport, and he wanted us to develop, and he wanted us to wait till later on in life to play like junior high school or freshman year." "And my mom was like, 'Man, they want to play, they keep talking about it.' And she snuck us on the football team." "And for the longest, I thought that it was normal to get in the back of the Suburban on the way to football practice and change on the way there. Put your pads on, go to practice, get back in the back of the Suburban and take your pads off. We never took our shoulder pads or helmets or football gear in the house." "We left it in the back of the Suburban for the whole season." "And it came to the end of the season. We had a championship game. And it's crazy how the universe works, my dad was checking the Suburban for something, and he opened it up, and football pads had fell out.
