The X account of Nidhi Mittal Bansal, wife of Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal and Chairperson of the Lenskart Foundation, was deactivated on April 18, 2026, following a social media storm. The deactivation occurred after screenshots of her old posts from 2013–2015 resurfaced online, clearly showing what these guys are all about that people might have overlooked or they didn’t bother much about it. The resurfaced tweets showed Nidhi Mittal supporting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with hashtags like #vote4mufflerman and #DelhiDecides, while expressing sharp criticism of the BJP and PM Narendra Modi. Some viral screenshots allegedly contained disparaging comments about Hindu organisations (such as the Hindu Mahasabha) and an allusive remark concerning Lord Ram.
